Randy Osborne, 7th Degree Black Belt

Randy Osborne began his martial arts training at the age of 13. He has been teaching Tae Kwon Do since 1986; first in Washingon, DC, and now in the Portland area. He owns and directs the United Martial Arts Academy, which was established in 1991. Raised in Oregon, Mr Osborne has a deep interest in the positive effect that martial arts training can have on the community.

With black belts in both Karate and Tae Kwon Do, Randy Osborne has an exceptional understanding of the role martial arts can play in developing character. In his teaching, he shows that Tae Kwon Do transcends the punch, kick and block to affect one's whole approach to life, bringing balance, grace and self-discipline to everyday situations. As a full time instructor of martial arts, Mr Osborne's goal for the future is to make Tae Kwon Do available to everyone. He encourages people from all backgrounds to take advantage of Tae Kwon Do training, which he believes can help children, adults, and families to reach their full potential as both martial artists and individuals.
